Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Fruks: Booking Details
Bookings for the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-Door and Franks are being accepted online on the Nexa website and offline at Nexa dealerships. Customers can book the Franchise for a token amount of Rs 11,000 while the Jimny 5-Door can be booked for Rs 25,000. Maruti Suzuki said that more than 17,000 bookings have been received for the Jimny and more than 8,500 for the Franks.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Frnx: Engine and Gearbox
Maruti Suzuki Jimny will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 103 Bhp and 134 Nm of peak torque. It will get a 4X4 system mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed automatic transmission. While the Franchise will get a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 98.6 bhp and 147.6 Nm. It will get a gearbox option of 5-speed MT and 6-speed AT. There will also be a 1.2L petrol engine option, which will produce 88.5bhp and 113Nm of torque.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny, Franks: Price
Maruti Suzuki Fronx prices are expected to be revealed in April this year, while the Jimny 5-door is likely to be launched in May 2023. Upon launch, the Frisco will be the most affordable sub-compact SUV from Maruti and prices could start from Rs. From Rs. 7.50 lakh onwards. While the ex-showroom price of the Jimny 5-door is likely to start from Rs. 1.2 million.
