The SUV will get large multi-spoke wheels. A closer look reveals a camera mounted on the wing mirror for a 360-degree camera.
Honda’s midsize SUV will get the same powertrain as the Honda City. Which would mean it will be powered by a 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid engine. In this way, it will be the third SUV in the segment with strong hybrid technology after Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Header. Gearbox options will be a 6-speed manual and CVT for the 1.5-petrol, and an ECVT for the Strong Hybrid.
When will be launching
According to the report of Autocar, the new Honda midsize SUV may be introduced in the coming months, while the price will be announced around Diwali. It will rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider.
