car news desk, Vehicle manufacturer Kia Motors showcased its all-electric SUV at the Auto Expo this year. It was a concept model. Now Kia has started testing its production ready model in Santiago. This electric SUV is expected to be launched in the global market by the end of this year. However, it is unlikely to come to India just yet. The displayed model was designed in a Shiny Blue color scheme.

The new Kia electric SUV will see a sizable glasshouse behind the C-pillar. The car could get flared wheel arches, rear bumper, a rear spoiler, alloy wheels, blacked out aluminums, roof rails and vertical LED tail lamps.
How will the facilities be?
The production model of this car is almost ready. But the information about its interior and features details has not been revealed yet. However, its interior details are likely to be similar to its concept model. Its concept model got a sleek dashboard with an integrated twin-screen infotainment setup and a spoke-less bottom steering wheel with no physical controls.
powertrain
A 77.4kWh battery can be seen in the KIA EV9 concept. However, the details of its power and extent are yet to be revealed. Its production-REDI version may come with a dual motor, 4WD (four-wheel drive) setup. Rear axle single motor setup can be found in its initial variants.
