Most of the company’s cars are in great demand in the market, be it their entry level model Thar or cars like Scorpio and XUV700. While the waiting period for the new Thar 2WD has reached 18 months, the company’s XUV700 is also being booked heavily by the customers. The waiting period of this SUV launched in October 2021 has reached around 48 weeks. Recently, information about the pending order of this SUV has come to the fore.
According to the report, the Mahindra XUV700 has 77,000 units of bookings pending till January 2023. That is, an average of 9,900 units are being booked every month. The SUV has the longest waiting time (up to one year and four months) on the top-end AX7 and AX7L models in both petrol and diesel, while its affordable MX and AX3 petrol versions will be available in two-three months.
price and competition
Mahindra has recently increased the price of this SUV by Rs 53,000. Currently, the XUV700 is priced between Rs 13.45 lakh to Rs 25.48 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The SUV comes in five color options. It competes with cars like Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector, Tata Harrier and Tata Safari.

The XUV700 gets features like 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, six-way powered driver seat and 12 speakers. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and built-in Alexa connectivity.
