Whereas Alto price in India starts from Rs.3.53 Lakh and goes up to Rs.5.12 Lakh for the top model. It is the cheapest car available in India.

Why is Alto expensive in Pakistan?
There is a lot of difference between the currency of India and Pakistan. Currently, 261.87 Pakistani rupee is equal to 1 US dollar, while 82.76 Indian rupee is equal to 1 US dollar. The currency of India is 3 times stronger than the currency of Pakistan, while the cost of the Alto is 5 times. Still, Rs 21 lakh is very high. In such a situation, it is difficult for a middle class Pakistani to buy an Alto car, as well as the affluent rich are also not able to buy Alto.
