If a person does not like both these cars, then Renault Kwid can be considered. The design of the Renault Kwid looks like an SUV and its cabin also feels spacious. Its price range is also almost the same as that of the Alto. The Alto 800 price range is in the range of Rs 3.54-5.13 Lakh and Alto K10 price range is Rs 3.99-5.95 Lakh.
The price of Renault KWID ranges between Rs 4.70 lakh to Rs 6.33 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in five trims – RXE, RXL, RXL (O), RXT and Climber. The 5 seater car comes in six monotone and two dual tone color shades. It gets a 1.0-litre petrol engine, which generates 68 PS power and 91 Nm torque. The engine has the option of 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox. However, it does not get a CNG option while the Alto 800 and Alto K10 also have a CNG option.
Talking about the features, Renault KWID will get 14-inch black wheels, electric ORVMs, day/night IRVM, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system (Apple CarPlay and Apple Android), keyless entry, manual AC, reversing camera, dual front airbags, ABS. And features like EBD and rear parking sensors are available. The Kwid Climber also gets a pretensioner and load limiter on the driver’s seatbelt. In the market, it competes with cars like Maruti Alto, Maruti Auto K10 and S-Presso.
