Its booking has crossed 25 thousand even before the launch. Mahindra Thar 4WD can now be bought in Everest White and Blazing Bronze color options as well. These new color options were till now available only for the 2WD model. With this the Mahindra Thar 4WD can now be bought in a total of 6 colours, with Everest White, Blazing Bronze, Aqua Marine, Red Rage, Napoli Black and Galaxy Grey.
Thar’s cheaper model was also launched
Mahindra had increased the price of the 2WD model of the Thar earlier this month. Its price has been increased by ₹ 50,000 only 3 months after the launch of the cheaper model. For Thar buyers, the rear wheel drive model was launched in January 2023 at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh.
4 month wait
The popularity of Mahindra Thar in the country can be gauged from the fact that the company has 37,000 pending orders for the SUV. The waiting period for SUVs has increased to 4 months. Customers are buying it fiercely. Features on the Thar include a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, halogen headlights with LED DRLs, automatic climate control and steering mounted controls.
