Maruti Frons and Jimny 5 Door will be available for sale in the next two months, preview model reached at the dealership

auto news desk,Vehicle manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has started preparations to launch its two new cars, the Franks crossover and the Jimny Lifestyle SUV, in India. Both these cars will be sold through Nexa dealerships. Their booking has started. Customers can book the Franks for Rs 11,000 and the Jimny for Rs 25,000 online or through authorized dealerships.

Frox will be launched next month
Maruti Suzuki is yet to announce the launch dates for the new Fronx and Jimny 4×4 but Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the Fronx in early April and the Jimny 5-door lifestyle SUV in May 2023. According to the company, both these SUVs are getting positive response in the market. Maruti Suzuki has sent preview models of both these SUVs to the dealerships for the customers.

how is fronx?
Maruti’s new Franks is the crossover version of the company’s Baleno hatchback. The ex-showroom price of this car is expected to be between Rs 7 lakh to Rs 11 lakh. It will compete with Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger in the market. It will get a choice of two petrol engines, which will include a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol and a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine. Which will generate power of 100bhp and 89bhp respectively. Both will be equipped with mild hybrid technology. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 5-speed AMT and a 6-speed torque converter automatic as standard.

5 door jimny
Maruti’s 5 door Jimny is based on the rugged ladder-on-frame chassis. It will get a 1.5L K15B naturally aspirated petrol engine with idle start/stop system, capable of producing 105 PS of power and 137 Nm of torque. This will include the option of a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic. Also, it will get Suzuki’s All Grip Pro 4WD system with manual transfer case and a low-range gearbox as standard.
