According to FADA, Maruti’s retail sales rose to 1,18,892 units last month as compared to 1,09,611 units in February 2022. However, its market share declined to 41.40 per cent.

Similarly, Hyundai’s market share fell to 13.62 per cent from 14.95 per cent last month. The company sold 39,106 units last month, while in February 2022, 38,688 vehicles were sold. At the same time, Tata Motors’ retail sales rose to 38,965 units in February, according to the data. In February last year, 34,055 units were sold. Last month, its market share increased from 13.16 per cent to 13.57 per cent.

Mahindra’s market share increased to 10.22 per cent year-on-year last month. Its market share in February 2022 was 7.06 percent. The company’s retail sales are pegged at 29,356 units in February 2023, up from 18,264 units in February 2022. At the same time, Kia India’s retail sales have also increased. In February 2022, the company sold 13,623 units, while in February 2023, 19,554 units were sold. Its market share also increased by 5.27 percent to 6.81 percent. FADA has collected registration data from 1,348 out of 1,434 RTOs across the country.
