It is expected that Maruti Suzuki Fronx (compact crossover SUV) can be launched at an initial price of Rs 8 lakh. The company can place it between Baleno and Brezza in its portfolio. The Franks will be offered with 1.2L DualJet and 1.0L turbo petrol engine options. There will also be a choice of 5 speed manual and 5 speed AMT gearboxes.
Some of its design elements look like Baleno and some design elements like Grand Vitara. 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay), Arkamys audio system, cruise control, head-up display, automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, ABS, EBD in the car . And many features like hill hold assist will be available.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny can be launched at an initial price of around Rs 10 lakh. The company has received over 18,000 bookings for the Jimny. It comes with a 1.5 liter K15B petrol engine, which has been equipped with mild hybrid technology. This engine generates power of 105bhp and torque of 134Nm. The Jimny will get a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. It will also get a four-wheel-drive (4WD) system with a low-ratio gearbox. Talking about the features, it will get many features including 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Arkamys sound system, climate control, cruise control, keyless entry, auto headlamps, multiple airbags.
