car news desk, Tata Motors has started testing the facelift version of its premium SUV Harrier. In which many new features are expected to be available along with some cosmetic updates. Similarly, Tata Safari is also going to get facelift update. The Harrier facelift is likely to be launched later this year, and is expected to be priced higher as well. Currently, the price of the Harrier ranges from Rs 16.45 lakh to Rs 21.77 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 19 lakh to Rs 24.07 lakh for the automatic variant.

Recently, the Harrier facelift has been spied testing. The design of this car is very similar to the current model. The test model seen was completely covered, due to which not much information could be found about its exterior design. However, the information received suggests that it will get an updated front grille with straight slats and a new lower grille. However, there has been no change in its front bumper. Along with this, round shaped halogen headlamps have also been seen, which have been installed in the lower part of the bumper. It looks similar to the Harrier EV showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo. Elements like the headlamps, LED DRLs and fog lamps in the Harrier facelift could be similar to its EV model. Updated tail lamps with an interconnecting LED strip can be found in its rear profile.

How is the interior?
On the inside, it gets updated upholstery, multi-colour ambient lighting, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 9-speaker JBL sound system, 7-inch digital TFT instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, 6-languages ​​navigation, and more. Features like more than 200 voice commands will be available.

How will the engine be?
The Harrier facelift could get a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, which will generate 170 PS and 280 Nm outputs. It will get the option of both manual and automatic transmission. Also, it will continue to get the existing 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. Which generates power of 170 PS and torque of 350 Nm. It is mated to 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine has recently been updated to meet the BS6 Stage 2 emission norms.
