In terms of sales, it is followed by Kia Carens (6248 units) at number two, Toyota Innova Highcross (4169 units) at number three, Renault Triber (3056 units) at number four and Maruti XL6 (2108 units) at number five.

Mild hybrid technology is available in Ertiga. It comes with a 1.5-litre Dualjet petrol engine, which generates 103 PS of max power and 136.8 Nm of peak torque. These power figures are available on petrol while on CNG the power gets reduced. On CNG, this engine generates 88 PS of power and 121.5 Nm of torque.
The MPV gets the option of a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox but only a 5-speed manual gearbox is offered in the CNG variant. It returns a mileage of 20.51 kmpl on petrol while 26.11 kmpl on CNG. It gets a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Along with this, connected car technology (telematics) is also available in it. It also gets features like paddle shifters (in the automatic variant), cruise control, auto headlamps and auto AC.
In terms of safety features, it gets dual airbags (standard), ABS with EBD, brake assist, rear parking sensors. The top variant also gets two additional airbags (4 in total) and hill hold control along with ESP. Its starting price is Rs 8.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 12.93 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top variant.
