car news desk, Toyota launched its new MPV Innova Highcross in the Indian market some time ago. This MPV has been brought in hybrid engine option and SUV-like look. The Innova Highcross was launched in December at a starting price of Rs 18.30 lakh (ex-showroom). It has been introduced in a total of 10 variants with four petrol engines and 6 self-charging strong hybrid variants. This car is also getting great response from the customers. Meanwhile, the company has decided to increase the price of this car. Toyota has increased the price of this 3-row MPV by up to Rs 75,000.
After the price hike, the Toyota Innova HyCross now starts from Rs. 18.55 lakhs. The company has increased the price of the petrol variant by Rs 25,000 and the petrol + hybrid variant by Rs 75,000. Prices for the Innova HyCross petrol variant will now start at Rs 18.55 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 19.45 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec GX 8-seater variant. Similarly, the prices for the Strong Hybrid variant will now start at Rs 24.76 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 29.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine & Mileage
The Toyota Innova Highcross MPV gets a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine along with a self-charging hybrid powertrain. It is capable of generating 181 bhp power and claims best in segment mileage of 23.24 kmpl. The 2.0L petrol-only variant produces 169 bhp and claims fuel economy of 16.13 kmpl.
