Although there is a competition between Hyundai and Tata Motors for the second place, but this time also Hyundai has beaten Tata Motors to take the second place. The company has released the sales figures for February 2023 on Wednesday. During this, Hyundai said that in the same month a year ago, it had wholesaled a total of 53,159 vehicles. Now last month in February 2023, Hyundai wholesaled 47,001 units in the domestic market. This is 7 percent more than February 2022’s 44,050 vehicles.
It also exported 10,850 vehicles from India in February 2023, up 19 per cent from 9,109 vehicles a year ago, the company said in a statement. Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India said that these sales numbers are showing positive trends across various segments. Talking about Tata Motors, its passenger vehicle sales (including electric vehicles) in the domestic market stood at 43,140 units.
