car news desk, Mahindra Thar is one of the most popular lifestyle off-roaders in the country and the model has been in high demand ever since its launch. Talking about the demand, there is a lot of craze in the market for the RWD variant of this Mahindra SUV. Currently, the company offers the model in RWD and 4WD configurations that can be chosen with a soft top or a hard top. The video of the comparison between the two models of the Thar has been uploaded by The Car Show on its YouTube channel. The model on the left in the video is the RWD AX(O) and is priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh and the model on the right is the 4X4 LX variant which costs Rs. 16.49 Lakhs. The price of both the variants is Rs 6.5 lakh and there is a lot of difference in the features of both.

He first starts with the difference on the front fascia of the cars. He points out that the base LX variant misses out on the factory fitted fog lamps on the front bumper. After this, he also told that the LED DRL on the turn indicators at the front is not available in the LX variant as well. It then again featured the engine in the top spec LX model and it gets a 2.2L diesel engine that produces 130 Bhp of max power and 320 Nm of torque. He says that this model produces 300 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual variant and comes with the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission.
