auto news desk,South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor India is going to launch its new generation Verna in the country on 21 March 2023. The deliveries of this car can start by mid-April. The company has revealed the dimensions of this car.
What will be the dimensions?
The wheelbase of this new model of Hyundai has been given 2670mm. The length of this car is 4535mm, width 1765mm and height 1475mm. This car is longer and wider than its current model. But the height has been kept the same.
Compete with Honda City Facelift
In terms of dimensions, the new Verna has a length of 4535mm, width 1765mm, height 1475mm, wheelbase 2670mm and boot space 528L.
Compared to the Honda City, the new 2023 Hyundai Verna is 17 mm wider and comes with more space. The boot space of the Honda City is 506-litres, while the boot space of the New Verna is 528-litres. The new City sedan is longer than the new Verna. Hyundai says that the new generation Verna has been “designed for a premium and luxurious appeal”.

With a longer wheelbase and more width, the 2023 Hyundai Verna offers more space for the second row passengers. While the front and rear passengers get better shoulder room along with better rear seat legroom and knee room.
How will the engine be?
The new 2023 Hyundai Verna will be offered with two petrol engine options, including a 1.5L naturally aspirated and a 1.5L turbo petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual and iVT gearbox, and the turbo-petrol engine will be mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox option.
