It seems that no other vehicle in this segment is giving a very tough competition to the Hyundai Creta. But, in the last few years ever since Kia introduced its Seltos SUV in India, it seems that there is one that is giving competition to the Creta. The Kia Seltos looks to rival the Hyundai Creta to some extent. However, the Seltos gets beaten by the Creta at every turn. If we look at the sales figures of the last three months of both, then the sales of Creta have increased.
Creta and Seltos sales in last three months
In January 2023, Hyundai Creta sold 15,037 units and Kia Seltos 10,470 units. Earlier in December 2022, Hyundai Creta sold 10,205 units while Kia Seltos sold only 5,995 units and only Creta sold more in November (2022). In November 2022, 13,321 units of Hyundai Creta and 9,284 units of Kia Seltos were sold. That is, during the last three months, in terms of sales, Creta is ahead and Seltos is behind.

The price range of Hyundai Creta ranges from Rs 10.84 Lakh to Rs 19.13 Lakh (Ex-showroom). It is a 5 seater SUV. It gets six monotone (Polar White, Denim Blue, Phantom Black, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Red Mulberry) and one dual tone color option (Polar White with Phantom Black roof). It gets three engine options – 1.5-litre NA (155 PS/144 Nm), 1.5-litre diesel (115 PS/250 Nm) and 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine (140 PS/242 Nm).
