Talking about the exterior look of this Volkswagen electric car, the company has built this car on the MEB platform. It gets sculpted bonnet, projector LED headlights, wide daytime running lights with “VW” logo, sloping roofline, ORVMs apart from rake windscreen, flared wheel arches and alloy wheels. At the same time, wrap-around LED taillights and a new design bumper are being seen in its back side.

The cabin gets redesigned dashboard, firmer upholstery, redesigned head-up display, ambient lighting with multiple colours, automatic climate control and multi functional steering wheel, 10.9-inch digital instrument cluster with voice commands’ Hello Volkswagen. Along with this, a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system has also been given. At the same time, safety features like multiple airbags and ABS can be seen as safety features.
Volkswagen ID.2 Power-Pack
Talking about the power pack of this car, it can be made available in single and dual motor variants. Which has a 57kWh battery pack with a single motor variant, which can cover a distance of up to 400 km on a single charge. At the same time, its dual motor variant will be available with AWD system, which will be capable of covering a distance of up to 450 km.
Volkswagen ID.2 Price
The company has not given information about its price yet. But this car is being considered as the cheapest electric car of Volkswagen till date. According to estimates, the price of this car can be kept around 20 to 30 lakh rupees.
