Drawbacks of Tata Punch
— Highway performance of the 1.2L NA petrol engine is not great. It gets louder at 100 kmph or above.

— Suspension is pretty firm tuned (R16 variant). This is not a bad thing but it will detect small potholes on the road and jerks will be felt inside the car.

— In the price range it comes in, many cars are offering CVT and torque converter automatic transmission while this one comes with AMT gearbox, which is jerky and slow.

— It gets a 3-cylinder petrol engine, which doesn’t match the 4-cylinder engines of many other cars in this price range in terms of refinement and NVH.

— No turbo petrol or diesel engine option available. CNG option is also not available but it will be available soon.

— 4 people can sit comfortably in the cabin but there is less space for 5 people to sit. Only two people can sit comfortably on the rear seat.

— Many features are missing but could have been, such as auto-dimming IRVM, 60:40 split rear seat, rear AC vents, front armrest, cup holders in rear armrest, padded door armrests, tyres. pressure sensors and height-adjustable front seatbelts etc.
