
auto news desk, The country’s leading carmaker Maruti Suzuki has announced the recall of 7,213 units of its popular hatchback car Baleno RS. The company will recall the car models that will be produced between October 27, 2016 and November 1, 2019.
Possible fault in the vacuum pump
The reason behind Maruti Suzuki recalling its Baleno RS is a possible defect in its vacuum pump. The job of the vacuum pump is to assist the vehicle while applying the brakes. Although less likely, vehicles that may experience this problem will require higher-than-normal brake pressure to apply.
No need to pay for recall
On behalf of the company, its customers have been assured that the vehicles in which such defects will be found. These will be replaced free of cost at the company’s official dealership. No fee will be charged from the vehicle owner for this.
Maruti has recently recalled more vehicles
Maruti Suzuki has already recalled 17,000 vehicles in January this year. Which were done between 8 December 2022 to 12 January 2023. The reason for this recall was the installation of faulty airbags in these vehicles, the list of recalled vehicles includes Alto K10, S-Presso, Eeco, Brezza, Baleno and Grand Vitara vehicles.
Why are vehicles recalled?
Any automobile company recalls its vehicle if any defect is found. However, this problem is not seen in 1-2 vehicles but in many vehicles. The company then examines the same and issues a recall for such vehicles.
