Now the company is soon going to update the turbo petrol engine in this car according to the BS6 Phase 2 emission standards. The new version will be available for sale in May 2023. Along with this, many safety features will also be added to it, which include features like hill hold assist, tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability program and idle auto start stop.
How will the new engine be?
The 2023 Citroën C3 will get a 1.2L engine turbo petrol, which generates power of 110PS and torque of 190Nm. It will get a 6-speed manual gearbox. Its price will be slightly higher than the current version. Currently, the price of this hatchback is between Rs 6.16 lakh to Rs 7.87 lakh. Recently the company has launched a new Shine Edition of this car with 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine.

The company has confirmed that its next car will be a mid-size SUV, the Citroën C3 Aircross. The model will be unveiled on April 27 and is likely to be launched in the market in the next few months. This car will be based on the C3 hatchback. It will get headlamps with split setup and slim DLR at the front, signature grille and sporty bumper and it will also have more ground clearance. According to media reports, the Citroën C3 Aircross will be offered with a 5-seater arrangement first and later its 7 -Seater version will also come. This SUV will get the option of manual and automatic gearbox with 1.2L turbo petrol engine.
Will compete with Kia Seltos
This C3 Aircross SUV will compete with the Kia Seltos, in which a petrol and a diesel engine option is available. The company is soon going to launch the facelift version of this car in the market, which is likely to get ADAS feature.
