Meanwhile, Hyundai has launched the latest version of the Stargazer MPV in the market. This MPV comes with a powerful engine and plenty of space. It comes in both 6-seater and 7-seater seating layout, making it suitable for families. The company has currently introduced this car in the Thailand market. No official information has been received about whether this MPV will be launched in India or not.
look and design
The company has designed this MPV on the new design language giving it a premium look. At the rear, it gets an attractive grille, wide LED bar and ‘H’ shaped LED lights. The Stargazer is slightly smaller than the Kia Carens in the Indian market, measuring 4,540 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width and 1,700 to 1,708 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 2780mm. The mid variant of this MPV gets plain alloy wheels while the top variant gets designer alloy wheels which enhance its side profile.
engine power
The MPV is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 113 bhp power and 144 Nm torque and comes mated to an IVT gearbox. The Smart 6 variant comes with 6 seats, while the second variant has seven seats.
Stargazer comes in three variants – Trend, Style and Smart. The Trend variant gets halogen headlamps, LED taillights, electric-folding side mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheels, fabric seat upholstery, manual air-conditioning with rear air vents, a basic head unit with Bluetooth, four speakers and safety features like ESC see you. VSM, ABS, hill start assist, brake assist, dual airbags, speed-sensing auto lock and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
The Style variant gets sportier alloys, a black chrome front grille, LED daytime running lights, automatic function for its halogen headlamps, front fog lamps, 4.2-inch Supervision TFT LCD multi-info display, keyless engine start (with remote function) . Leather seats, armrest and tray table in the second row make it more comfortable for the passengers. The MPV comes with cruise control, four drive modes (Normal, Eco, Sport and Smart), USB outlets, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with 8 -inch touchscreen head unit, two more speakers, a reverse camera, tire pressure monitoring system, rear occupant alert and manual speed limit assist.
