Tata Punch has captured a huge market share in a very short span of time. Hyundai Motor is about to launch Exeter in the Indian market to undercut the sales of Tata Punch.

The Hyundai Xtor is known by the AI3 codename. It is inspired by the company’s Casper SUV. Hyundai Xeter is the most affordable compact utility vehicle from the company. It gets H-shaped LED DRLs along with the parametric grille like the Venue, though it seems to be missing the chrome studs. Two sporty design elements are placed below the main grille. The lower grille along the flanks give it an attractive look. It has 6 spoke alloy wheels of new design.

There could be a 1.2L 4-cylinder petrol engine that generates 83 PS of power and 113.8 Nm, as well as a 1.0L turbo petrol and a CNG powertrain option with the 1.2L engine. It can get the option of 5-speed manual transmission and 5-speed AMT. The ex-showroom price of this car is likely to be between Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 1.2 million.
