The upcoming new SUV from Hyundai has been made especially for India and its designing has also been done keeping the Indian market in mind. This Hyundai micro SUV will not be available in some global markets like the Casper, but some features could be borrowed from the Casper. The Hyundai Xtor is made for India, which means being bigger than the Casper, it will be a great car for us.

The new Hyundai Xtor will be built on the K1 platform that powers the Nios. Which has a 1.2l naturally aspirated petrol engine that will generate 82 bhp power and 113 Nm torque. Which will be offered with 5-speed automatic and manual transmission. Talking about its size, it will be 4 meters longer and shorter than the Hyundai Venue. Casper has been named and positioned according to the lifestyle of the youth, as shown in the teaser.

The Hyundai Xtor will be launched by the end of this year around the festive season. The car is expected to feature high-end equipment like a large touchscreen with a digital instrument cluster and climate control like the rest of the Hyundai cars. The Exeter is unlikely to get the turbo petrol engine that will be offered on the Venue.
Hyundai Xtor is needed in the Indian market considering the growing demand in the micro SUV segment. Hyundai has been able to offer its smallest SUV at a price of Rs. 6 lakhs ex-showroom.
