Maruti Suzuki India on Friday said it is recalling 7,213 Baleno RS models due to a defect in the brake assist vacuum pump. Maruti Suzuki India said in a regulatory filing that the recall will affect vehicles manufactured between October 27, 2016 and November 1, 2019. The company said further effort is needed to get the brake pedal on the affected vehicle in place. Maruti has said that the defective parts will be replaced free of cost at the company’s authorized workshop.
Ertiga and XL6 also have problems
Maruti Suzuki India also said in a post on its website that it will launch a service campaign for 676 vehicles of Ertiga and XL6 models manufactured between June 24, 2022 and July 7, 2022. The company says that there is a problem with the axle front of these cars. There have been complaints that the vehicle makes strange noises while taking turns, but this does not affect the handling.
