The company currently sells the Mahindra XUV400 EV. However, with plans for 6 new electric cars simultaneously, Skoda challenges Mahindra in the EV segment as well.
Skoda released new logo
Skoda will launch these new electric cars in the next 5 to 7 years. Apart from the new EV, the company also announced a new brand identity last year. Along with this, the company launched a new logo and brand identity. All these moves are part of the 2030 strategy. The new logo will be seen on the front and rear of all new ŠKODA models from 2024.
It will probably release in India
Two of the announced 6 electric cars can be launched in the Indian market as well. These include an Elroq compact electric car and a small car. The length of the new Skoda Allrock EV will be around 4.5 meters while the smallest EV will be 4.1 meters long. The world premiere of the Elroq compact SUV will happen in 2024.
Will run 480km on full charge
The next Elroq electric SUV could be launched with 77kWh battery power. Once fully charged, this car covers a distance of 480 kilometers. At the same time, the small electric car will be a subcompact SUV. When launched in India, it will compete with the Tata Nexon EV and the Mahindra XUV400 EV.
