auto news desk,Hyundai Motor India recently launched the new sixth generation Verna. 2023 Hyundai Verna has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Though it is quite a feature loaded sedan but still there are some features which could have been given but were not given. Let us give you information about such top-5 features which are not found in it.

1. Diesel or Hybrid Powertrain

The last generation Verna was the only car in its segment to get a diesel engine. However, in the new-gen model, Hyundai has done away with the diesel powertrain and dropped the hybrid unit as well. Significantly, after removing the diesel engine from the Verna, the cheapest sedan in India is now the Mercedes-Benz A 200 d, which is priced at Rs 44 lakh, ex-showroom.

2. Wireless connectivity for 10.25 inch screen
The lower variants of the Hyundai Verna get an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which comes with wireless connectivity option. However, the higher variants with 10.25-inch display currently do not support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. According to Hyundai, soon an OTA update will be released for the users, in which they will get the wireless connectivity feature for the higher trims as well.

3. Foglights and rain-sensing wipers

4. 8-Way Powered Driver Seat
The new Verna gets a powered driver seat but does not get 8-way adjustability. It is electronically adjustable only 4-way. Powered height adjustment is not available in this, for this manual adjustment has to be done.

5. 360 degree camera
Level-2 ADAS and other high-tech features are available in the new Hyundai Verna but 360 degree parking camera is not provided. Although, due to the presence of ADAS, it may not be much needed, but it would have been better if it was given.
