car news desk, Last year, automaker Citroen introduced its C3 hatchback in two variants – Feel and Live. Its ex-showroom price was between Rs 5.71 lakh to Rs 8.06 lakh. This price was increased in January 2023. The top-of-the-line Shine trim of the C3 hatchback includes Shine, Shine Vibe Pack, Shine Dual-Tone with Vibe Pack and Shine Dual-Tone variant. This trim was till now available only with the NA petrol engine. But now the company has launched the Shine variant with a turbocharged petrol engine.
Turbo Shine variant prices
The Citroën C3 Turbo Feel DT variant is priced at Rs 8.28 Lakh, C3 Turbo Feel DT Vibe Pack is priced at Rs 8.43 Lakh, C3 Turbo Shine DT is priced at Rs 8.80 Lakh, C3 Turbo Shine DT Vibe Pack is priced at Rs 8.92 Lakh. All prices are as per Delhi ex-showroom.

Saurabh Vats, Brand Head, Citroën India, said: “We are delighted to launch the new Gen III PureTech 110 Turbo engine with advanced safety features, which will offer customers a differentiated driving experience in the city and on the highway. The C3 Turbo was in high demand earlier as well and was well received by the customers. The deliveries of this variant will start from mid-May.

The top-end Shine variant gets 13 new features including ESP, hill assist, tire pressure monitoring system, engine start/stop, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear parking camera, day/night IRVM, 15 diamond-inch cut alloys, front fog lights Are included. Rear skid plate, rear wiper and washer, rear defogger.

The Citroen C3 Turbo variant gets the Gen III PureTech 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which can generate 110 hp power and 190 Nm torque. Its front wheels are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It also gets the option of the existing 1.2L NA petrol engine. Which generates power of 82 hp and torque of 115 Nm.
one who competes
This car competes with cars like Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Tata Tiago. All these cars get 1.2 liter petrol engine.
