Electric version of Creta seen again, new car will run 400 km on full charge!

The South Korean company has been working on bringing the electric version of the Creta for some time now. Glimpses were also seen during the road test of the upcoming Creta EV. At the same time, now this car has been seen once again. Both the bumpers of the new electric car were seen in different shades of silver. Hyundai currently sells the Kona Electric and the Ioniq 5 EV. The Hyundai Creta is one of the best-selling SUVs in the country. At the same time, after the arrival of its electric version, customers will also have the option of EV. Apart from this, South Korean automakers like Hyundai and Kia may also introduce electric versions of other cars or new electric cars in the Indian market.

Will travel 400 km on a single charge

Let us now talk about the possible specifications of the next electric version of Creta. The Creta EV could be offered with a 100 kW electric motor. This car will generate power of 136 hp and torque of 395 Nm. In addition, the car can be launched with excellent autonomy. On a full charge, the Creta EV will have a range of over 400 km (expected).

Creta EV: Will be introduced in 2025

If reports are to be believed, Hyundai aims to sell 25,000 Creta EVs annually. Production of the Creta electric car could begin by the end of 2024. At the same time, the final i.e. production version can be introduced at Auto Expo 2025. Along with the Creta EV, the company will also develop the platform and – GMP, to scale up production for the global market as well.

However, it won’t be easy for the Crete 2025 electric car. Maruti Suzuki is also planning to launch the YY8 electric SUV. Maruti can also showcase the new electric car at the 2025 Auto Expo. Tata Motors has a one-sided rule over the Indian electric car segment. At the same time, Mahindra also made a strong entry in the EV segment with the XUV400 EV.
