
auto news desk, Hyundai Motor India is preparing to launch its all-new Xeter micro SUV on 10th July 2023. It will be the smallest SUV in the company’s line-up. The company has also started pre-booking for this. Let us see how it will compete with its rival Tata Punch.

Hyundai Xeter will get a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder engine, which will generate 82 bhp power and 114 newton meter torque. It will get the option of 5-speed MT and AMT. It will also get the option of an optional CNG kit with the 1.2-litre petrol engine. In the CNG variant, this engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual only.
Features Comparison
Both the cars share a lot of features, but the Exter gets a few more features. The Exeter gets features like electric sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, dashcam with dual cameras and six airbags as standard. In terms of safety, it will also get ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rear parking camera and ISOFIX child-seat anchorages.
Tata Punch gets features like 7-inch touchscreen display, semi-digital instrument panel, auto air conditioning, automatic headlights, connected car technology and cruise control. It gets safety features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear defogger, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera and ISOFIX anchors. Tata Punch has received a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP in crash tests.

The new Hyundai Xtor will be launched in India on 10 July 2023. Its ex-showroom price is likely to be between Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. Whereas at present, the ex-showroom price of Tata Punch ranges from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9.52 lakh.
