car news desk, MG Motor India is about to launch all variants of its Comet EV in the Indian market tomorrow. Recently the company has released the basic variant of this car. Whose ex-showroom price is Rs 7.98 lakh. The Comet EV is the company’s second electric vehicle in India. The reservation for this car will start from 13 May 2033.

It gets two-tone exteriors with LED headlamps with LED DRL bulbs and a wide LED strip at the front and rear. The length of this EV is 2974mm, width 1303mm and height 1631mm. Its wheelbase is 2010mm. It has 12 inch alloy wheels.

Talking about the interiors of the MG Comet EV, the MG Comet EV gets a two-spoke steering wheel with capsule-like controls. Features 10:23-inch dual touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, 12V charging port, and over 33 connected car features with wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play, 15-month built-in system and a digital Bluetooth key Receive. It gets three driving modes like Eco, Normal and Sport.

A 17.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack is available in this 5 seater electric car. Which is capable of giving a range of up to 220 km on a single charge. Its PMS electric motor mounted on the rear axle produces 41.1 HP of peak power and 110 Nm of peak torque. It takes seven hours to charge this battery from 0 to 100 percent and five hours to charge from 10 to 50 percent.
