
auto news desk, A spy image of the XUV 300 compact SUV, one of the most popular SUVs from Mahindra & Mahindra, is doing the rounds on the internet. Earlier it was believed to be a new SUV, but it is an updated XUV300 subcompact SUV prototype. This will be the first major update for the model in terms of design and features. Although no information is available about when it will be launched. But it is expected to be launched in 2024.
design
The facelifted SUV is likely to get a completely updated front and rear profile. Upfront, it can get a slightly tweaked bonnet with a newly designed split grille and bumper. There will also be a change in the headlamp and taillamp. Some design elements can be found in it similar to the XUV 700 like LED headlights and C-shaped DRLs. The rear profile will get updated taillamps with wide LED bar, bumper integrated license plate and redesigned boot lid. No change in its dimensions is expected. It will be 3995 mm long, 1821 mm wide and 1627 mm tall like the current model.
features
As of now, the interior details of the facelifted XUV300 are not available. However, it could get features like digital driver console, a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Mahindra’s new Adrenox UI with OTA updates, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats and 360-degree camera.
powertrain
There is no possibility of any change in the powertrain of Mahindra XUV300 facelift. It will continue to be powered by 1.2L turbo petrol engine with 110PS/200Nm output, 1.2L DI turbo petrol with 130PS/250Nm output and 1.5L diesel engine with 117PS/300Nm output. The lineup will get a standard 6-speed manual gearbox, while the option of an AMT transmission will also be available with the turbo petrol and diesel engines.
Will compete with Maruti Brezza
This car will compete with Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza, which gets a 1.5-liter K-series engine. Along with this, many features are also available in it.
