auto news desk, Tata Motors is about to expand its Altroz hatchback lineup with a new XM+ (S) variant. It will be placed between the XM+ and XT variants. The new mid-spec variant will be offered in three fuel options, including 1.2L, 3-cylinder NA petrol, 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbo diesel and 1.2L petrol engine with CNG kit. Some other features will be seen in the new XM + (S) variant including rain-sensing wipers, shark fin antenna and knitted roof line. While features like digital instrument cluster and sunroof will be available only in CNG version.

The company will include some new features in its XT and XT Dark variants. Which will include features like leather seats, leather covered steering wheel, hyper-style wheels, reverse camera, adjustable rear headrests and climate control.

The new Tata Altroz XM+ (S) is likely to be priced around Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 more than the XM+ variant. The sale of this car can start by the end of this month. New mid-spec and updated XT and XT Dark variants will be introduced along with the Altroz CNG.
Altroz CNG
The Altroz CNG will get a 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine, with a dual cylinder CNG setup placed under the boot floor, which can generate 84bhp power and 113Nm torque. On CNG this car will give a mileage of 26.49km/kg. This car will come in 6 variants. The top-end XZ+ variant will get air purifier, rearview camera with dynamic guideway, leather seats, height adjustable front seat belts, connected car tech with remote control, smartphone controls, 8-speaker audio system, among others. Brake features include sway control, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, wireless charger, auto headlamps, a rear fog lamp and tire pressure monitoring system.
