The company will introduce six new locally manufactured models in India. Which will include three new vehicles. The rest of the A-segment scheme will see an EV (Kwid EV) and the C and high C-segment will bring the new generation Duster 5 and 7-seater SUVs.
India will come in 2025
According to media reports, the world premiere of the new-generation Renault Duster will happen later this year. It can be launched in India in 2025. At the same time, Nissan will also bring new Duster based 5 and 7-seater SUVs, but both these models are expected to have different design elements, interior bits and features.

The new SUV from Renault is likely to get slim LED headlamps, narrow front grille, angular bumper and boxy bonnet. Other design highlights include squared wheel arches with bold cladding, door pillars with integrated rear door handles, twin pod-style spoiler and trunk lid with Bigster-like Y-shaped taillamps.
powertrain
The third generation Renault Duster and its Nissan variant are likely to get two petrol engines, including a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated and a 1.5-litre turbo GDI engine. This SUV can be offered with front wheel drive and all wheel drive system. Front wheel drive drivetrain setup may be offered in lower trims and all wheel drive system may be offered in higher trims.
who will compete
In the 7-seater version, the new generation Renault Duster can compete with the Tata Safari, which gets a 2.0 liter diesel engine. Soon its facelift version is going to come in the market.
