car news desk, Recently Toyota has brought back the Innova Crysta MPV in the market. Toyota India has announced the official prices of this MPV. Prices for the 2023 Crysta start from Rs 19.99 lakh onwards and the top-spec variant costs Rs 25.43 lakh, ex-showroom. However, it will compete with the Innova Highcross in the MPV market.
Innova Crysta
The 2023 Innova Crysta gets the sole option of a 2.4-litre diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. There is no petrol or automatic option available. This engine generates 150 hp power and 343 Nm torque. It gets a new front design. It is available in three variants GX, VX and ZX with 7-seater and 5-seater configurations. Fleet option is also available in GX and VX trims. Both the private and fleet models of the Crysta cost Rs 1,000. 19.99 lakhs.
Innova Highcross
The 2023 Innova Highcross comes with more luxurious and more features. It gets an updated drivetrain option with a 2.0-litre NA petrol engine that produces 172 hp. In the higher variants, this engine is mated to a strong hybrid system. It gets CVT automatic transmission and E Drive automatic transmission. It gets new exterior and interior.

Both MPVs are great in themselves but if you want diesel engine then go for Crysta but if you want hybrid car then Highcross will be right for you. Although right now the waiting period for this is close to 2 years.
