
auto news desk, Tata Motors will be launching the Safari facelift in the country in October this year. For which the company is testing this updated SUV in India. Spy footage of the SUV that was recently captured testing has revealed some clear design details. The Safari facelift design has been inspired by the Harrier EV concept, which was showcased at the Auto Expo earlier this year. It is expected to get a new turbocharged gasoline engine along with new interiors.
Design Tata Safari Facelift
A look at the Safari facelift test unit reveals that it has been given a facelift on the outside. It will feature an LED headlight setup with LED DRLs, a wide LED light bar extending across the hood and a vertical headlight cluster in the bumper. There will also be a dimming solution around the integrated air vents in the headlight housing and cluster.
Tata Safari Facelift Interior & Features
Major changes are expected inside the Safari facelift as well. It could also get a new two-spoke steering wheel as seen on the Nexon facelift along with a new 10.25-inch touchscreen like the Red Dark Edition.

This SUV can get a new 1.5 turbo four-cylinder petrol engine, which can generate 170 hp power and 280 Nm torque. Along with this, the existing 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine will also be available. It will have the option of 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.
when will launch
Tata Motors will start production of the facelift Safari at its Pimpri plant in September 2023 and it could be launched in the market in October 2023, just before Diwali. This car can compete with Mahindra XUV700 and Hyundai Alcazar. The XUV 700 gets a choice of petrol and diesel engines.
