Auto News Desk – Tesla also recently revealed two EV models at its 2023 annual shareholder meeting. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, the world’s largest EV maker, said the company is already working on two new vehicles. He has also confirmed that the deliveries of the Cybertruck will begin this year itself. Musk briefly mentioned that Tesla is already working on new products. Elon Musk said at the event, “I just want to emphasize that we are making really new products.

Teaser images of both the new EV models from Tesla were also released. The teaser image shows a side profile of a vehicle, which could be a crossover or a hatchback car. It could be more compact than the current entry-level Model 3. Whereas, the other vehicle looked like a van or an MPV. Tesla is aiming to increase its sales figures with these two new affordable EVs. Musk said, “… we’ll probably build over 5 million units per year of these two models combined.”

In addition, Musk confirmed that deliveries of the Cybertruck will begin later this year. He explained that the Cybertruck’s unique design caused the delay because Tesla could not use a traditional manufacturing process for it. “The company had to invent new manufacturing techniques to make an exoskeleton car instead of an endoskeleton car,” Musk said. “The product has been anything but better than expected,” Musk said. Its deliveries are expected to start by the end of this year.
