Tata Nexon is at number-1 in the list of best selling SUV of the country. Tata Motors has sold a total of 15,002 units of the Nexon SUV in April 2023. Barring a few months of ups and downs, overall the Nexon has proved to be a game changer SUV for Tata Motors. At the same time, the company is also selling a good number of electric versions of the Nexon every month.
Creta-Venue lags behind Nexon
If we look at the sales figures, the Nexon has left behind the Hyundai Creta and the Venue. In April 2023, Hyundai has sold 14,186 units and 10,342 units of Creta and Venue respectively. Last month, the Creta has given good competition to the Nexon. Even after coming second in sales, it is not much behind Nexon. At the same time, once again to accelerate the sales of Creta, the company has started preparations to bring it in the facelift model as well.
Coming to the Maruti Brezza, it has got a new lease of life after its launch in a facelifted avatar. Maruti Brezza is at number three in the list of top selling SUVs after Nexon and Creta. The company has sold 11,836 units of Brezza in April 2023. On the other hand, Tata’s mini SUV Punch has made it to the fourth number in the list of best selling SUVs. The carmaker managed to sell 10,934 units of the punchy SUV last month.
