The Thar 2WD costs a lot less than the 4WD model. 2WD Diesel price starts from Rs. 10.54 Lakh and 2WD Petrol price starts at Rs. 13.49 Lakhs.
Signs of changing times for Thar?
When the 2.2-litre diesel engine was launched on the Thar, it led to a significant jump in the SUV’s sales, for which the waiting period crossed one year. But with the arrival of the 1.5-litre diesel RWD Thar, the waiting list has come down to almost a month.
