Its facelift avatar has been awaited for a long time in India. Meanwhile, the company has launched a new Dynamic Black Edition of the Creta. It is based on the facelift model already sold in the international markets. However, this new edition has been brought to Indonesia for now.
It is similar to the Night Edition available in India, but its design is based on the facelifted Creta. It is completely black and gives a very domineering look. The front gets Hyundai’s new parametric grille with integrated LED DRLs, similar to the Tucson SUV. On the inside, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen is available, while in India there is a 10.25-inch display. Features on the Creta Dynamic Black Edition include leatherette seat upholstery, electronic parking brake, automatic climate control, wireless charger, engine start/stop button.
Indonesian Creta comes with ADAS feature. This includes features like forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane keep assist, blind spot alert and rear cross-traffic alert. The SUV is also equipped with six airbags, ABS, ESC, VSM, TPMS and a HAC function.
The Indonesian version of the Creta is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 113bhp and 144Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a CVT unit. The Creta facelift is expected to be launched in the Indian market later this year with updated features and technology. The price of this edition of Hyundai Creta in the Indonesian market is close to INR 35 crore (INR 19 lakh).
