
car news desk, The country’s popular car company Tata Motors keeps on updating its portfolio continuously. The company has now launched the Red Dark Edition of its Nexon, Harrier and Safari SUVs. This new variant has been brought with better styling and more features including ADAS than the regular model. The Nexon Red Dark Edition is available in both petrol and diesel options, while the Harrier and the Safari Red Dark Edition come in diesel engines only.
Talking about the price, the price of Nexon Petrol Red Dark Edition is Rs. 12.35 lakh, and the diesel variant is priced at Rs. 13.70 lakh (ex-showroom). While the Tata Harrier Red Dark Edition is priced at Rs 21.77 Lakh, and the Safari Red Dark Edition is priced at Rs 22.71 Lakh for the 6-seater variant and Rs 22.61 Lakh for the 7-seater variant, respectively.
ADAS feature too
The biggest feature of the Harrier and Safari Red Dark Edition is the ADAS safety system. These include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition. Both the SUVs are based on their top variants and get new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, 7-inch digital driver’s display and 360-degree camera.
What has changed in the exterior
Like the popular Safari, Nexon and Harrier Dark Edition, the newly introduced Red Dark Edition features an all-black ‘Oberon Black’ exterior color scheme. The Harrier and Safari Special Edition models also get red brake calipers and small red inserts on the front grille. When it comes to the interiors, all three Red Dark Edition models get ‘Carnelian’ red seat upholstery and gray trim on the dashboard.
