
auto news desk, Tata Motors, the largest manufacturer of electric cars in the country, has got a big deal for electric cars. Tata Motors has signed a major deal with online taxi company Uber. Under which the company will deliver 25,000 Xpres-T EVs to Uber.
Tata Express-T EV
Let us tell you that Express-T EV is the company’s electric sedan, which the company is selling to taxi and fleet companies under the business-to-business model. The Xpress-T EV’s design is based on the Tigor EV, but its range and features are lesser than the Tigor EV.
In April last year, Tata Motors received an order for 5,000 Xpress-T EVs from Lithium Urban Technologies. And in October 2022, ride platform Evra also placed a major order of 2,000 Xpress-T electric sedans with Tata Motors. The new XPRES-T electric sedan comes with two range variants – 213 km and 165 km (ARAI certified) range . They use a 21.5 kWh and 16.5 kWh high-density battery pack that can charge from 0-80 percent in 90 minutes and 110 minutes, respectively.
Tata Express-T EV
The Tata Express T EV gets a single-speed automatic transmission, dual airbags and ABS with EBD as standard across all variants. Other key features of the XPRES T EV include automatic climate control, black theme interiors and electric blue accents on the exteriors.
