Tata Red Dark Edition models spied ahead of launch

car news desk, Tata Motors has shared a glimpse of its Red Dark Edition cars on Twitter, which simply reads “Coming Soon” and shows the Safari, Harrier and Nexon in dark red. The Red Dark editions of the Safari and Harrier were first showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo, but now it looks like the Nexon will also join the line-up. The cars could be launched in March or April this year and will get several design changes along with some new features.

We contacted a few dealers who told us that the price will be around Rs. 1 to 1.5 lakh more than the normal line-up. The most exciting part of the technology coming with cars is ADAS. It will include features like autonomous emergency braking, front and rear collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot assist, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, lane change alert and high beam assist. Along with this, 6 airbags will also be given in the cars.

The cars showcased at the Auto Expo sported a black exterior look with red brake calipers, black rims and a black grille with red accents. The cabin came with red upholstery with carbon fiber finish on a piano-black dashboard. The cars include a large 10.25-inch touchscreen, 7-inch digital instrument cluster and 360-degree cameras. It also gets features like panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats with memory function and ambient lighting.
