The SUV was crash tested by Global NCAP in February last year, in which the Nissan Magnite got 4 stars for adult passenger protection and 2 stars for child occupant protection.

The Nissan Magnite is sold in India with two different engine options. The first is the 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of peak torque. The second engine is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 100 PS power and 160 Nm torque.
