The XUV300 gets a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine mated to a manual gearbox as standard, which is quite powerful. This engine generates 130 PS of power at 5000 rpm and 230 Nm of torque at 1500-3750 rpm. There is an over boost function which gives it a peak torque of 250 Nm. This engine makes it the fastest SUV with an ICE engine under Rs. 1.5 million. The company claims that this SUV is capable of accelerating from 0-60 km/h in just 5 seconds.
How is the driving experience?
Talking about driving experience, it is a very good and fast SUV. The 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine found in it generates a lot of power. The clutch of the 6-speed manual is very smooth and light, but the gearshifts are long. The engine is one of the most powerful at this price point. The overboost function makes it a lot of fun to go fast and also provides extra torque. This hit of torque makes it easy to overtake in the city. This will prevent you from downshifting the load for a powerful bottom end punch. It doesn’t make a sound even when pressed hard.
XUV 300 TurboSport Mileage
The car is also very good thanks to the excellent suspension, it performs well for the roads of our country while maintaining speed on bumpy roads. The load on the steering can be adjusted but it doesn’t make much difference. Its brakes are also very fast. Along with this, this car also gives excellent mileage of 12-13 kmpl.
How are the features?
Talking about the styling, it gets a new logo while the new bronze paint scheme with red accents looks quite attractive. The cabin looks sportier and gets leatherette seats, though the dashboard looks a bit dated. Talking about the features, it gets dual zone climate control, sunroof, rear camera, Bluesense Connect, electrically adjustable and foldable glass along with many other features. Also, it offers excellent space in terms of rear headroom and legroom.
