The company has also released the new prices on its official website. The 2023 Kia Carens is now available in the price range of Rs 10.45 lakh to Rs 18.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2023 Kia Carens gets a new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that also powers the Hyundai Alcazar and the soon-to-be-launched new-gen Verna. This engine replaces the 1.4-litre turbo petrol unit, which hasn’t been upgraded to meet BSVI Stage 2 or RDE emission norms. The new powertrain is capable of producing 160PS and 253Nm of torque. It offers 20PS more power and 11Nm more torque than the 1.4L turbo engine. Instead of manual gearbox, 2023 Kia Carens is equipped with iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission). It also gets a 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic transmission). The Carens 1.5L iMT is available in the price bracket of Rs 12 lakh to Rs 17.55 lakh, which makes it up to Rs 50,000 costlier than the older Carens 1.4L engine. The DCT variant of the Carens Turbo is priced between Rs 15.75 lakh to Rs 18.45 lakh, which is Rs 50,000 more than the 1.4L Turbo DCT.

The diesel variant of the Carens is powered by a 1.5L turbo unit that produces 115PS and 250Nm of torque. With the 2023 iteration, Kia has replaced the 6-speed manual gearbox with the iMT transmission. It is also available with a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Kia connected car technology now supports Alexa connectivity. The Prestige Plus trim is now available with a leather wrapped gear knob. The MPV gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, electric one-touch folding second row seats, ventilated front seats and an electric sunroof.
