Customers can book this 7 seater SUV by paying Rs.25,000. The turbo petrol variant is expected to be priced around Rs 18 lakh and will directly rival the Kia Carens, which comes with a 1.4-litre turbo petrol unit. The new engine will come with two types of transmission 7-speed DCT and 6-speed manual gearbox. This turbo petrol engine is capable of generating 160 PS of maximum power and 253 Nm of peak torque. Hyundai claims that it will deliver fuel economy of up to 18 kmpl with DCT and 17.5 kmpl with manual gearbox.

The company has also changed the design of the facelift version of the Alcazar SUV. It also gets a new front grille design with puddle lamps. In terms of features, Hyundai has updated the new Alcazar with Idle Stop and Go as well as side airbags and curtain airbags. The new Alcazar now comes with six airbags as standard. Hyundai Alcazar was first launched in June 2021. In terms of sales, the Alcazar has not been as successful as its Korean sister Carens. Alcazar comes with features like 10.25-inch infotainment unit, digital driver display, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging.
