Let us tell you that Mahindra Thar RWD version comes in two color options – Everest White and Blazing Bronze. The Thar RWD costs around Rs 4 lakh less than the 4×4 variant.
Mahindra Thar RWD Engine
The Mahindra Thar RWD variant is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine instead of the 2.2L engine in the 4X4 variant. The Thar RWD, which is a low powered diesel engine, also gets GST benefits on sub-4 meter vehicles. Mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, this 1500cc diesel unit produces 117bhp power and 300Nm torque. The turbo petrol RWD variant only comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. In this, the 2.0L turbocharged petrol engine is capable of generating 150PS and 320Nm of torque. In terms of features, the Thar RWD gets powered ORVMs, a touchscreen infotainment unit, cruise control, electronic stability program, 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres.
