Maruti’s upcoming 7-seater MPV will be based on the Toyota Innova Highcross. This model is likely to be launched in the market during the festive season of this year. Both the models will see some design changes while the platform, features and powertrain will remain the same. Its price can be between Rs 20 lakh to Rs 30 lakh.
New Maruti 7-Seater SUV
Maruti Suzuki may bring a 7 seater SUV based on the Grand Vitara by the end of this year. It will be longer than its donor sibling. The new Maruti 7-seater SUV could be made available with 1.5L K15C petrol mild hybrid and 1.5L Atkinson cycle strong hybrid powertrains. It can give a mileage of up to 27.97 km/l.
New-Generation Maruti Swift and DZire
The upcoming strong hybrid cars from Maruti Suzuki also include the new generation Maruti Swift and Dzire. According to reports, both the models will get a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine, which will be equipped with Toyota’s strong hybrid technology. The new Swift and DZire may be able to return a mileage of 35-40 kmpl in petrol.
