The Baleno has sold 18,592 units in February 2023, up 47.91 percent from the 12,570 units sold in February 2022.

The price range for Maruti Baleno ranges from Rs 6.56 Lakh to Rs 9.83 Lakh (Ex-showroom). It is the company’s premium hatchback. This 5 seater car comes in four trims – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. It is powered by a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine. This engine is now linked to CNG. That is, now CNG variants also come in it. On petrol, this engine produces 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque, while on CNG it produces 77.49 PS and 98.5 Nm.
There is a choice of 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmission in petrol but only 5-speed manual gearbox is available in CNG variant. It also has idle start/stop technology.
