This 6.56 lakh car is the best selling, except Alto, Wagon-R, people are trusting it

It took on top selling cars like Alto, Wagoner, Swift of Maruti and then won the title of best-selling car. Even before this, it has been the top selling car in many different months. However, this was not the case in the month of January 2023. It was at number four on the list of top selling cars in January. Thereafter, it achieved a healthy year-on-year sales growth in February. The Baleno has sold 18,592 units in February 2023, up 47.91 percent from the 12,570 units sold in February 2022.

The price range for Maruti Baleno ranges from Rs 6.56 Lakh to Rs 9.83 Lakh (Ex-showroom). It is the company’s premium hatchback. This 5 seater car comes in four trims – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha. It is powered by a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine. This engine is now linked to CNG. That is, now CNG variants also come in it. On petrol, this engine produces 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque, while on CNG it produces 77.49 PS and 98.5 Nm.

There is a choice of 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmission in petrol but only 5-speed manual gearbox is available in CNG variant. It also has idle start/stop technology. Baleno (MT) returns a mileage of 22.35 kmpl and Baleno (AMT) returns a mileage of 22.94 kmpl. In this, segment first-headup display and 360-degree camera feature is available.
